HOW TO USE:
1. Connect cable between the charging point and vehicle.
2. Log into/pay for electricity (these may require specific apps depending on charge point)
3. Press button on type 2 connector in. Once receiving power the cable should lock into the charging point and green light will come on to show power is being passed through.
4. To disconnect: press button on type 2 connector, green light will go out and charging point will release connector.
5. Disconnect cable from both charging point and vehicle.

Charging time: This varies based on the power of your internal battery charger. We recommend using a larger battery charger as this will speed up the time it takes to charge your battery. Chargers above 30A is recommended. These can be found on our website.
 
Is it legal? laws around charging points vary between locations. Please ensure you read all parking restrictions as you would at any carpark. certain parking locations may have time restrictions. It is your responsibility as the vehicle owner to ensure you are legally parked.
 
How do I pay for the electricity and what does it cost? Each charging point brand has it's own method of paying and a set price per KW of power. These are normally done through an app and will clearly state the price per KW.
 
How does it work and is it safe? Our device has been through multiple prototypes and extreme testing to ensure it will safely run at the correct voltage with all type 2 charging machines. This product has also undergone extensive safety and legal scrutiny to ensure that it complies with all legislation around the use of electric charging points.
The electronics within the connector are designed to simulate those of an electric car. When connecting to the charging point it tells the machine what amperage and current to send through to ensure that the device on the other end can handle this. The cable is set to transfer 16A at 240V.
